Expressing likes and dislikes

To express likes and dislikes in Italian, we use a sentence structure that for English speakers might seem unusual at first.
In Italian we say that a subject pleases a person:
indirect pronoun + verb 'PIACERE' + subject


The verbs must agree in gender and number with the subject:
